Entry Level Helper

Pay:$16/hr

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

•                Maintain positive, professional and effective relationship with co-workers and customers in all communication.

•                Ensure compliance with quality standards, schedule, and budget.

•                Punctuality and regular attendance are required on the job.

•                Professional attire (as defined in Company Policy).

•                Follow all safety policies and procedures.

•                Complete/Submit accurate timesheets, expense reports and Litmos training by time frame

communicated in employee handbook.

•                Arrive at job site with tools and Manual.

•       Understand and implement the following sections of the Walmart Manual: Table of Contents, Cornice, Scopes and Procedures, Supergraphics (Mending Pates), Install Kickoff, Receiving, Safety, Trash Breakdown, Cable Drops, and Inventory.

 

The Entry Level Helper will begin to understand the overall process of installing in retail environments, follow and implement defined Safety practices to ensure safe job site, and will be direct representation of Company in the field. The Entry Level Helper will become familiar with operating and working in a scissor lift

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:                           High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in installation or construction. Proficient with utilizing cell phone(s) or tablet app/web/phone applications, as directed or trained. Proficient with utilizing Outlook, IE and/or Chrome.

 

Special Skills/Qualifications:       Valid driver’s license preferred, laptop with Microsoft Office, General computer use/knowledge, provide your own basic tools, ability to travel (job is 100% travel).

 

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: The incumbent will never be exposed to toxins, chemicals, detergents, and extreme temperatures (30degrees F – 115 degrees F), fumes, moving mechanical parts, x-ray/electromagnetic energy, communicable diseases, or gases. 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Operating at heights of 15 feet or more, lifting and/or carrying articles.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Must be able to lift and/or push a minimum of 50 pounds with mechanical assistance. This position requires stooping, kneeling, bending, manual dexterity, repetitive hand and arm coordination, finger dexterity, vision acuity both far and near with depth perception. Must be able to operate and perform work in a scissor lift.

Ground Assistant 

Pay:$16/hr

•       Understand and implement the following sections of the Walmart Manual: Sign Heights, Seasonal Grids, Flags, Liquor Box, Fuel Kiosk, Omni Channel, Placards, Register Sparks, Deli Rail, Landmarks, Breakroom, Misc, Signage, Mega Sticks, Cable Drops and Rail, Flag Installation, Register Vinyl, Pucked Signs, Lift Safety, Lift Maneuverability and Issue Reporting.

•                Assist in training all new employees.

Hanger           Pay:$16/hr

•       Understand and implement the following sections of the Walmart Manual: Install Wrap Up, Completion Reports, Temp Signing, Aisle Markers, Vestibules, Fourth Wall Boards, Hanging Columns, Vison Center, Money Services, Arrival Photos and Questions, Perimeter Layout and Spacing, Services Area Layout, Vestibule Spacing and Layout, Attending Construction Meetings, Close Out Documentation, Completion Photos, Nightly Work Flow and Mapping out each Crew Member on tasks for each shift, Communication with Store Planning and Project Manager.

•                Assist in training all new employees.

•       Maintain accurate records with photos, completion reports, blueprints, contractual documentation, etc. (as defined in Project Scope).

•                Assist in the development of projects to ensure maximum cost effectiveness.

•                Meets or improves deadlines (as defined in Project Scope).

•       Collect necessary forms, photos, and prepare necessary documents and submit said items, electronically (Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone required).

•                Advise appropriate field and corporate personnel of key items during project process.

•                Perform field surveys, as required; submit said surveys electronically (Laptop/Tablet/Smartphone required).

•                Develop and maintain a thorough and orderly filing system – min 90 days of records required.
